Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Kossay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmady, and the supervision of the Honorable Mrs. Dean of the College of Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Al-Taii, the work of the scientific course entitled “Laser damage, radioactive materials and methods of protection against them” was concluded on Monday, January 24, 2022, which lasted for three days. January 18, 23, 24, 2022, attended by Dr. Mahmoud Ahmed Mohamed Fakhry, Dr. Rafid Ahmed Abdullah and Lecturer Eman Moueffek Ramadan.The course included laser risks, method of elimination from these risks and right handle with laser as the course dealt with radiation types and their risks on environment and human as well as the right methods that have to follow it for getting rid of from its side effects or risks reduces and arrival it to human at least.The course was attended by head of the department Dr. Marwan Zwher Al-Yas, group of lecturers and students of Department of Biophysics, several of people are interested in the subject from colleges and departments of the university as well outside of the university. The course accompanied useful and active participation for groups from questions and answers in this area.
