Guidance Committee “Kufic Calligraphy Course”

Kufic calligraphy is a type of ancient Arabic calligraphy, and its first beginnings were with the advent of Islam, and that was in the city of Kufa in Iraq. It is called Al-Hira, and it was used in the field of writing in general, and in writing the Noble Qur’an in particular.The Guidance Committee in the College of Science, and within its objectives seeking to develop the skills of the college students, and in cooperation with the calligrapher Youssef Muhammad Adel / College of Islamic Sciences, opened this morning, corresponding to the sixth of March, its session on “Learning the Kufic Calligraphy”, a course that was held in the meeting room of the Deanship of the College in which he participated. A number of college students, where the course lasts for a week with electronic and in-person lectures.
