The conclusion of the scientific session “Modern applications of biomanufactured nanoparticles”.
The Department of Biological Physics concluded its scientific course entitled “Modern Applications of Biomanufactured Nanoparticles”, which was held in the department within the Carnival of the College of Science, attended by: Assistant Prof. Dr. Marwan Zuhair Elias and Assistant Prof. Dr. Rana Tariq Yahya and lecturer Dalia Abdel Ilah Rahawi. The course included a discussion of the concept of bio-manufacturing of nanoparticles and the possible mechanisms for manufacturing these particles in plants and microorganisms, in addition to effective aggregates for reducing metal ions and converting them into nanoparticles. The course also dealt with the physical properties of nanoparticles and the techniques used to detect the formation of nanoparticles and study their properties in terms of shape, particle size, crystal structure and effective aggregates that contribute to reducing metal ions and making nanoparticles from them, in addition to addressing the modern applications of these particles in the fields of medicine and agriculture. A number of faculty and students participated in the course, and the participants were given a certificate of participation.
