Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Sciences, the respected Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Al-Taii, the Department of Geology held its scientific workshop entitled “The Behaviors and Ethics of Scientific Research” on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 in the hall of the late Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Hamdani, delivered by Assistant Prof. Dr. Zaid Abdul Wahab Malik and Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Haq Al-Sumaida’i. The workshop included many topics related to the ethics and behavior of scientific research, the most prominent of which were (honesty, honesty and integrity, accurate and organized research work, impartiality and objectivity, respect for the intellectual property of others, scientific publishing in refereed scientific journals, ethical dealing with the study sample). As well as the most prominent qualities and behaviors that the researcher must possess and how the results of scientific research are written. The workshop was attended by many lecturers and researchers from the College of Science in addition to many graduate and undergraduate students.
