Registration of three new genetic isolates of the cutaneous Leishmaniasis parasite in NCBI

And because scientific excellence in the sky of scientific research is the domain of the members and students of the College of Science, here we are today and once again witnessing the achievement of a new scientific achievement in the scientific march of our members, as the assistant professor Dr. Haitham Luqman Shihab Al-Hayali and the master’s student Nesma Idris Saleh Al-Mamari from Department of Biology and within their tagged research project”Biochemical and molecular effect of liposomal amphotericin B and thalidomide synergism to treat cutaneous and visceral leishmaia in vitro”Three new genetic isolates of the Leishmania tropica parasite in”National Center for Biotechnology information (NCBI)”The new isolates were labeled with the following names:1- Leishmania tropica Nes-H1 DNA2- Leishmania tropica Nes-H2 DNA3- Leishmania tropica Nes-3 DNAIn turn, the family of the College of Sciences, represented by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, is pleased to offer the best and most wonderful words of congratulations for this new scientific achievement, wishing the researchers continued progress and dedication in the service of our university and our dear country.
