In the early morning hours of Wednesday, the 4th of January, 2023, The large central hall (Professor Dr. Farouk Al-Omari Hall) was reopened following a major refurbishment by the president of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Qusai Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, and the Dean of College, Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, with attendance the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Basil Muhammad Natheer, the family of Professor Dr. Farouk Al-Omari.The President of the University praised the diligent follow-up of the Dean of the College and the continuous tremendous efforts of the Department of Construction and Projects in the Presidency of the University, represented by the Engineer Osama Ahmed Hamdoon, in the process of reconstruction of the university buildings. Whereas the Dean of the college clarified in her talk that the auditorium’s capacity is approximately 300 seats, praising the concerted efforts that contributed to its refurbishment.
