The College of Science hosts a course in chemical and biological safety and security
Based on the directives of the Dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, the Department of Physics in our college hosted a “Chemical and Biological Safety and Security Course” that was held by the CBRN team of the university presidency for the period between 27th of February to the 2nd of March, 2023 for postgraduate students in College and university who are in the research stage.The course is one of the basics of laboratory work that deals with several parts related to the concept of safety, chemical and biological security, and personal protective equipment in addition to how to deal with laboratory waste and its various classifications, chemical solutions and methods of their preparation, the concept of radiation and its effects and how to minimize it as much as possible.
