In the early morning hours of Tuesday, 1-19-2021, the College of Science was honored by the honorable visit of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, the respected one, for inaugurating a number of scientific laboratories in the biophysics and new and renewable energies departments in a wonderful festive atmosphereThis addition comes as a result of the vigorous and continuous follow-up of the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, and the self-worthy efforts of the heads of the two departments, their affiliates and students, and the constructive and distinctive cooperation by the Northern Technical University represented by its president, Prof. Dr. Alia Abbas Al-Attar, and the Engineering Technical College represented by the administrative assistant Dr. Fawaz Al-Hadidi Respected, and the efforts of the ancient Department of Chemistry are combined in supplying these laboratories with the necessary equipment and toolsThe beautiful scientific carnival, which was attended by the esteemed members of the faculty council and the associates and students of the two departments, included the process of adding and qualifying three scientific laboratories in the Department of Biophysics: the Laboratory of Chemistry and Physics, the Life Sciences Laboratory and the Computer Laboratory, and in the Department of New and Renewable Energies, the Solar Cell Laboratory and the Physics Laboratory were added. For the rehabilitation of the electronic hall for meeting and recording electronic lectures.The Dean of the College added that the process of opening these laboratories comes as a qualitative and new addition to the two departments that contributes to enhancing the educational skills of students and preparing them to keep pace with the latest scientific developments, praising the concerted efforts of all the tremendous and distinguished efforts that contributed to the opening of this distinguished carnival that will contribute to the advancement of the educational process in the college.
