Master’s students from the Department of Chemistry, College of Science, have successfully completed the discussion of their theses, this thesis aimed to synthesize heterocyclic compounds derived from substituted benzimidazoles with various functional groups. Additionally, the study evaluated the biological activity of several synthesized compounds against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria, as well as yeast.

The session, which was held on Monday, January 13, 2025, was attended by the esteemed Dean Prof. Dr Hiyam Adil Altaii.
