The Life Sciences Department at the College of Science embodies this vision, having proudly received the initial approval for program accreditation—a milestone that places the department at the forefront of academic distinction and quality.

This accomplishment is the result of continuous efforts and dedicated follow-up by the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, whose unwavering support has played a pivotal role in achieving this significant progress.

We also deeply appreciate the leadership of Prof. Dr. Hayam Adel Ibrahim, Dean of the College of Science, whose commitment and persistence were instrumental in driving this achievement forward. Special recognition goes to the administrative and academic teams within the department, whose collaborative spirit and hard work were key to meeting accreditation requirements and enhancing academic standards.

Our heartfelt thanks extend to Prof. Dr. Nuha Saleem, Director of Quality Assurance at the University Presidency, for her ongoing support and coordination, which were vital in ensuring the success of this important phase.
