With great pride and joy, the College of Science announces a new academic achievement added to its growing record of excellence. The Department of Physics has successfully secured the preliminary approval for programmatic accreditation in the field of sciences — a major step reflecting the college’s deep commitment to academic quality and distinction.

This remarkable accomplishment is the result of the collective efforts and continued support of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ibrahimi, whose guidance played a pivotal role in achieving this milestone.

Special appreciation is extended to the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, for her dedicated follow-up and unwavering support throughout the process.

We also express our sincere gratitude to the outstanding academic and administrative team of the Department of Physics, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Sameer Mahmood Ahmed Abdulqader, for their dedicated work, well-structured planning, and high team spirit, all of which contributed significantly to fulfilling the accreditation requirements.
