In alignment with the vision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to advance digital transformation across Iraqi academic institutions, and in accordance with the directives of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmood Al-Ebrahimi, the Student Information System (SIS) Committee at the College of Science – University of Mosul continues its daily operations with high momentum and dedicated efforts to support the college’s academic and administrative digital infrastructure.

The committee’s responsibilities include updating and verifying student records, entering grades, organizing examination schedules, and managing academic files and official documents in coordination with the college’s Registration Division and the university’s Electronic Computing Center. In addition, the committee plays an active role in training administrative and academic staff on the effective use of the SIS and providing the necessary technical support to ensure smooth operation and overcome any technical challenges.

The SIS is considered a cornerstone of the administrative and academic automation project adopted by the Ministry, as it significantly enhances transparency, data accuracy, and the speed of communication between students, academic staff, and administrative units—ultimately contributing to improved institutional performance.

The Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, commended the committee’s continued dedication and emphasized her full support for all initiatives aimed at developing the college’s digital infrastructure and fostering an advanced technological environment that enhances both educational and administrative processes.
