The Department of Biology at the College of Science, University of Mosul, discussed a master’s thesis entitled:
“Immunological and Molecular Detection of Viruses Associated with Thalassemia Patients in Mosul City, Iraq”
on Monday, September 1, 2025.

The thesis was presented by Ghofran Saad Mahmood Obeid from the Microbiology Division. The defense was attended by the Head of the Department and several faculty members.
