Elections of the Iraqi Academics Syndicate – Nineveh Branch to Begin Tomorrow, Sunday
With the aim of strengthening the principles of transparency and democratic practice, the Iraqi Academics Syndicate has set the date for the elections of the General Conference members (third session) for the Nineveh Branch on Sunday, September 14, 2025, to be held at Al-Khwarizmi Hall, University of Mosul, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
The Syndicate has called on public and private universities in Nineveh Province to circulate the announcement across their colleges and affiliated units, encouraging academics who are members of the Syndicate’s General Assembly to attend and actively participate. It emphasized that participation in these elections represents an important step in selecting university representatives for the Syndicate’s General Conference, thereby enhancing the role of educational institutions and affirming the contribution of academics in decision-making.
