Faculty Member from the College of Science, University of Mosul, Participates in a Master’s Thesis Defense at Tikrit University
Prof. Dr. Zaid Abdulwahab Malek, faculty member in the Department of Earth Sciences, College of Science – University of Mosul, took part as a committee member in the defense of the master’s thesis presented by student Omar Aziz Fayyadh from the Department of Applied Earth Sciences, College of Science – Tikrit University, titled:
“Stratigraphy and Sedimentology of the Sharanish Formation in the Soran Anticline, Northern Iraq.”
The defense was held on Tuesday morning, September 2, 2025, in the discussion hall of the College of Science at Tikrit University, in the presence of the committee members, students, and attendees.
On this occasion, Asst. Prof. Dr. Firas Fares Raja, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Science – Tikrit University, presented a letter of appreciation to Prof. Dr. Zaid Abdulwahab Malek in recognition of his outstanding scientific efforts, active participation, and dedication in traveling to contribute to the success of the defense.
