Faculty Member from the Department of Biology Chairs a PhD Dissertation Defense Committee at the College of Education for Pure Science / University of Mosul
Prof. Dr. Muna Hussein Ali Jankir, faculty member in the Department of Biology, College of Science / University of Mosul, chaired the PhD dissertation defense committee of student Hamed Mohammed Taqi from the College of Education for Pure Science. His dissertation was entitled:
“Extraction of the Protein Pigment C-Phycocyanin with High Purity and Investigation of Its Effective Impact Against Pathogenic Bacteria and Cancer Cells.”
The defense took place on Wednesday morning, September 10, 2025, in the discussion hall of the College of Education for Pure Science.
At the conclusion of the session, Prof. Dr. Jassim Fathi Ali, Dean of the College of Education for Pure Science, presented a letter of appreciation to Prof. Dr. Muna Hussein Jankir in recognition of her outstanding scientific efforts and active participation in the student’s defense.
