A student from the Department of Biology receives a letter of thanks and appreciation from the president of the University of Mosul
The president of the University of Mosul, professor Dr. Wahid Mahmoud al-Ibrahimi, awarded a letter of thanks and appreciation to the teaching assistant Suhair Taha Dawood Bakr Bey from the Department of life sciences at our college, with the consequent one-month allowance and promotion.
This honor came in recognition of her outstanding scientific efforts in registering seven new strains of different bacterial species in the global gene bank (NCBI) under the codes:
SuAm1, SuAm3, SuAm4, SuAm6, SuAm7, SuAm8

This achievement was achieved within the framework of her master’s study, and under the supervision of Professor Dr. Amira Mahmoud Al-Rawi.
