A teaching from the College of science participates in the discussion of a master’s thesis at Holler Medical University

Based on the keenness of the College of science to promote scientific activities and academic cooperation between Iraqi universities and the exchange of experiences between professors, the teaching staff of the Department of Chemistry at our college, professor Dr. Thikra Ali Alloush, participated in the discussion Committee of the master’s thesis tagged “the Relationship Between Serum Levels of Anti-Mullerian Hormone, Adiponectin, Visfatin, FSH, and Other Biomarkers in Women with polycystic ovarian syndrome”, which was submitted by student Nora Abdul Karim Mansour from the College of Health Sciences / holler Medical University on Thursday, October 30, 2025.

The study dealt with the relationship between the levels of a number of hormones and vital indicators in women with polycystic ovary syndrome in Erbil governorate, in order to identify the hormonal and metabolic changes associated with the syndrome, and explore the possibility of adopting them as auxiliary indicators in diagnosis and follow-up the development of the disease.

Prof. Dr. Thikra Ali Alloush was honored by handing over a book of thanks and appreciation, in appreciation of her outstanding scientific efforts and her active contribution to the student’s discussion and taking the trouble to travel.

In conclusion, the College of science wishes all its dear professors and students further success in their scientific career.
