A workshop at the College of science on ensuring women’s rights at work.
Under the patronage of the blessing of the president of the University of Mosul, prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Brahimi, and the supervision of the dean of the College of science, prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, and within the continuing education programs, the women’s Affairs Committee at the College, in cooperation with the Department of studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit, the women’s Affairs Unit at the university presidency and the human rights unit at the College, organized a workshop entitled “The Importance of legal and administrative amendments to ensure women’s rights at work” on Monday November 3, 2025 at the Department of Biology Sciences / Dr. Mahmoud Haj Qasem Hall.
It was thrown by every Assistant L. Ellen Muwaffaq Khalil, Assistant L. Salah afdou Ali, Assistant L. Noor Al-Huda Ahmed Mohammed, attended by a number of teachers of the Department.
The workshop aimed to highlight the legal and administrative amendments that promote women’s rights in the work environment and achieve gender equality, in line with the Sustainable Development Goals, especially the goals of equality and decent work.
