Scientific workshop entitled (The Importance of hydrolyzed enzymes in bacteria and fungi)

Under the patronage of the blessing of the president of Mosul University, prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Brahimi, and the supervision of the dean of the College of science, prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, and the follow-up and presence of the head of the Department of Biology sciences, prof. Dr. Amjad Abdul Hadi, in line with the directions of the College of Science in supporting scientific research and spreading the culture of sustainable development continuing education, a scientific workshop entitled (The Importance of hydrolyzed enzymes in bacteria and fungi) was held on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, delivered by L. Dr. Heba Khaled Mahmoud and L. Dr. Hoda Walid Hadi al-Hayali and L. Abeer Ahmed Mahmoud Qasem, and the course was attended by Mr. The rapporteur and a number of teachers of the department and his students.
The workshop included an introductory introduction on the synthesis of enzymes, their mechanism of action, classification and nomenclature, and the enzymes necessary for bacterial cell culture, virulence and pathogenicity, and at the same time exploiting the positive side of these enzymes in various fields of industry, and also dealt with fungal enzymes of industrial importance, whether waste recycling, textile industries, food industries or other industries.
Our wishes are for our teaching to be full-time and creative in a way that serves the community and helps in understanding the mechanisms of life in all living beings.
