College of Science

The College of Science – University of Mosul received today the National Resident team of the National Council for the accreditation of science majors programs, headed by Prof. Dr. Tahsin Hussein Mubarak, president of the National Council for the accreditation of science majors programs / University of Diyala.

The committee was received by the dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, the distinguished scientific Associate Prof. Dr. Ryan Mazen Faisal, and the head of the Department of new and renewable energies, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Mounir Suhail, the respected.

The evaluators ‘ team dedicated this day to conducting a paper audit, which included reviewing official documents, quality files, and auditing the administrative and academic aspects related to the Department’s program, as part of the accreditation procedures.

The committee is scheduled to complete the rest of its tasks in the coming days, which will include evaluating the academic and technical infrastructure, reviewing laboratories and classrooms, and verifying the conformity of the available capabilities to the approved accreditation standards, in preparation for issuing final recommendations for completing accreditation requirements.

The College of science confirms its continuous commitment to enhancing the quality of academic programs and developing a sound educational environment that meets national and international standards, in order to ensure leading educational outputs capable of Keeping Up with the requirements of the labor market and supporting the scientific career at the University of Mosul.
