A workshop at the College of science on the dangers of drugs coinciding with the Iraqi week to combat them
Under the patronage of the blessing of the president of the University of Mosul, prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Brahimi, and the supervision of the dean of the College of science, prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, and the follow-up of the head of the Department of new and renewable energies, assistant prof. Dr. Ahmed Munir, and within the continuing education programs, the Department of new and renewable energies organized a workshop entitled environment of consciousness .. No way to drugs) on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at the Ibn Sina Hall in the Department. Delivered by a. L. Dr. Lubna Abdulaziz Saleh and L. Dr. Hamed Abdullah Saleh, attended by a number of teachers and students of the Department.
Its axes dealt with the definition of drugs, their different types and forms, the different ways taken by promoters to spread these poisons, and the risks of drugs on the health of the individual and society, and the social and economic effects they cause, in addition to clarifying the factors contributing to their spread and ways to avoid, reduce and prevent this phenomenon.
