College of Science

Under the guidance of the dean of the College of Science Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, the scientific departments of the College organized a welcome meeting for the first stage students for the academic year 2025/2026, in the presence of college members and guidance committees in the Departments of the college.

The meeting included introducing the college and its scientific structure, indicating the nature of the study in each department, in addition to reviewing the educational halls and laboratories, and explaining the instructions for dealing with devices and materials used in practical lessons, especially with regard to laboratory safety and safe use controls. The meeting also included an introduction to the student discipline laws, university examination instructions, the Bologna track and the details of its application at the college, to ensure the clarity of the academic path of students since their first academic year. Reference was also made to the tasks of the guidance committees and student support mechanisms during the university stage.

The meeting witnessed a positive interaction from the students, who asked questions about scientific disciplines and future work prospects, and the Dean praised the efforts of the departments and guidance committees in creating an encouraging academic environment, wishing students a successful academic year in the College of science.

We wish our students the time of giving and creativity in their academic career and the permanent advancement of the educational process.
