The Departments of Biology sciences and chemistry sciences at the College of science at the University of Mosul received a delegation from Fateh al-Fotouh middle school and Souda bin zamaa High School on Monday, November 24, 2025, as part of the program aimed at enhancing scientific awareness and developing students ‘ curiosity about the specialties available at the University.

The visit included a scientific tour of the educational laboratories of both departments, during which a number of faculty members provided simplified explanations about the diversity of living organisms, their environments and their vital importance, in addition to introducing students to some basic chemical principles and the nature of laboratory experiments conducted at the university level. The teachers were keen to present the information in a simplified interactive manner commensurate with the level of the students, which gave the visit an interesting scientific character.

At the end of the visit, the visiting delegation expressed their appreciation to the college administration and the teaching staff in the two departments for the good reception and the valuable information they provided that contributed to expanding the students ‘understanding, stressing the importance of these visits in consolidating students’ attachment to scientific knowledge and encouraging them to think about the academic and Research Future
