A delegation from the College of science makes a cultural and scientific visit to Holy Karbala and Najaf
Under the patronage of the president of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Brahimi, and under the supervision of the dean of the College of Science, Prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, and in response to the kind invitation from the Husseini shrine in Holy Karbala, a delegation from the College of Science family made a cultural and scientific visit to both holy Karbala and Najaf, within the framework of enhancing cultural, intellectual and scientific communication, and establishing a common knowledge environment that contributes to building an ideal society that serves the homeland in the future.
The visit included attending an intellectual and dialogue seminar at the Sayyid al-Shuhada complex and the husseiniyya holy shrine, in addition to viewing the important scientific and cultural monuments at the two holy shrines, including libraries, museums and exhibitions, to deepen the scientific and cultural understanding among the students of the college and its affiliates.
The Dean praised the great role of the two holy shrines in supporting scientific and cultural institutions, praising the good reception and constructive cooperation shown by those in charge of the two shrines during the visit.
