A welcoming ceremony to celebrate the reception of first-stage students in the Department of New and Renewable Energies

Under the patronage and attention of the Deanship of the College of Science, and within the activities of the Guidance Committee in the Department of New and Renewable Energies, the Department organized on Sunday morning, November 23, 2025, a welcoming ceremony to receive students of the first stage for the academic year 2025-2026, in the presence of the Department’s Lecturer, Assistant Prof. Dr. Mohammed Mahmoud Younis, and a selection of the Department’s teaching and teaching staff.

The ceremony began with a welcoming speech delivered by Prof. Dr. Alaa Ismail, in which he congratulated the students on starting their university career, followed by a comprehensive introduction to the tasks of the Guidance Committee, the structure of the Department, classrooms, and scientific laboratories. The meeting also included guidance on the mechanisms of dealing with the teaching staff and their fellow students, emphasizing the importance of perseverance and follow-up lessons first, as well as clarifying the controls for the proper use of materials and devices inside laboratories, to ensure a safe and disciplined learning environment.

At the end of the event, the teaching staff expressed their aspiration to see their students continue their scientific path with confidence and diligence, striving towards excellence and achieving academic goals.
