The College of Science celebrates the International Volunteer Day with a distinctive Humanitarian Initiative
On a day when the world celebrates the spirit of giving and gathers on the value of volunteerism that elevates communities… the College of science shines with an initiative that embodies this lofty meaning and promotes humanitarian work on campus.
Under the patronage of the dean of the College of science, prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, and under the supervision of the head of the Department of Biology sciences, prof. Dr. Amjad Abdul Hadi, the Department of Biology sciences organized on Thursday, December a distinctive volunteer campaign on the occasion of the International Volunteer Day.
The campaign included a number of targeted activities, including:
Cleaning classrooms and improving their readiness
Arrange hallways and take care of their appearance
Spreading the spirit of initiative and teamwork among the corridors of the Department
This initiative came to confirm the keenness of the Department of life sciences to consolidate the values of responsibility and belonging, and to promote the culture of volunteer work as an authentic part of the university environment.
