Under the patronage of the blessing of the president of the University of Mosul, prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Brahimi, and the supervision of the dean of the College of science, prof. Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim, and the follow-up and presence of the head of the Criminal Evidence Department, Assistant Prof. Dr. Haitham Luqman Shahab, and within the continuing education programs, the A scientific workshop entitled” molecular technologies in microbiology diagnostics ” on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, was delivered by Assistant L. Alaa Taha Younis and Assistant L. The smile of Raad Abdullah and Assistant L. Ali Saleh Hamza and Assistant L. The course was attended by Mrs. Al-muqarramah and a number of teachers and students of the Department.

The workshop dealt with an introduction to microbiology, molecular diagnostic methods for samples and their improvements, PCR polymerase chain reaction technology, its development and types, the principle and operation of each, as well as DNA hybridization techniques and their applications, DNA sequencing techniques and their applications, and finally the analysis of the gene expression of DNA, Its Applications and determinants in Molecular Science the workshop was met with a wide interaction from the attendees.
