The Department of Chemistry at the College of science organized on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, a scientific activity that included the presentation of two seminars for graduate students, in the presence of a group of department teachers and students, amid a scientific atmosphere rich in dialogue and constructive discussions.

• First seminar: PhD student in Physical Chemistry Mohammad Ehsan Majid presented a seminar entitled: “modification of the biosensor for the detection of tumor indicators with clinical chemical diagnosis and statistical treatment”
  Under the supervision of both:
  Prof. Dr. Rabah Ali Khalil .
  * Assistant professor Dr. Mohammed Bahri Hassan .
• Second seminar: master’s student Moataz Zidan Hamed / industrial chemistry major presented a seminar entitled ” preparation and diagnosis of superabsorbent hydrogels and studying their ability to load the drug and its sustainable release”, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Fawzi Habib Gabriel.
