A group of Master’s students in the Department of chemistry delivered seminars on Wednesday, December 17, and they are as follows :

• Abdulsalam Saleh Hassan / master’s degree in Analytical Chemistry entitled “Evaluation of some drugs in their pharmaceutical preparations” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hana Shukr Mahmoud, which included the development of an indirect spectroscopic method for the estimation of naproxen in its pharmaceutical preparations using the oxidizing agent n-bromosuccinamide and methylene blue dye , and simulating the organic reaction using
• Aya Tarek Ibrahim / master of analytical chemistry entitled “The use of new organic reagents, some of which are extracted from plants in the spectral estimation of some pharmaceutical compounds” under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nabil Sabih Othman .
• Zubaida Talal Mohammed / master of analytical chemistry with the title “removal of various organic pollutants using biomass residues” under the supervision of L. Dr. The episode summarizes the use of biomass residues after drying, grinding and sieving in the adsorption of organic pollutants and the use of methylene blue dye as a pollutant and studied the adsorption property of Biomass after adjusting several conditions, including temperature, acid function, time, the concentration of the adsorbent, and the amount of the adsorbent and the best conditions were chosen in light of the best results for adsorption
