The President of the University of Mosul awards a college member in the College of Science a letter of thanks and appreciation.
In support of scientific and research excellence, the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, presented a letter of appreciation to Dr. Saba Zaki Al-Abaji, a college member in the College of Science, in recognition of her distinguished scientific efforts and her contribution to registering the genetic mutation of the METRNAL gene in the gene bank of the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). This scientific achievement reflects the high level of research and academic rigor of our university’s faculty and staff.
This honor comes in appreciation of Dr. Saba Zaki’s rigorous scientific efforts, which have contributed to enhancing the University of Mosul’s standing in global scientific databases and supporting its progress in the fields of scientific research and development.
The letter of appreciation also included a one-month seniority bonus for the purposes of salary increases and promotions, in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, in recognition of her active contribution to the advancement of science and knowledge.
We wish her continued success and further scientific achievements that enrich the academic journey at the University of Mosul.
