Graduate Student Seminar Scene / College of Science – Department of Physics

The College of Science, Department of Physics, hosted a series of seminars for postgraduate students (Master’s and PhD), featuring presentations of scientific research in various disciplines. The seminars were attended by college members and postgraduate students, reflecting the college’s commitment to supporting scientific activity and fostering a research environment.

The seminars included the following research presentations:

– Master’s student Samar Ahmed Issa presented her research titled “Using Cold Plasma under Atmospheric Pressure Conditions in Bacterial Sterilization Applications,” supervised by Professor Dr. Abdullah Idris and Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Younis Awaid.

– PhD student Muhannad Muayad Elias presented his research titled “Simulation and Performance Analysis of Wideband Solid-State Devices for High-Frequency Applications,” supervised by Professor Dr. Mohammed Subhi.

The scientific presentations were followed by valuable discussions that enriched the research aspects and enhanced the students’ presentation and analytical skills, aligning with the college’s goals of raising the academic and research standards.
