Within the social activities of the Department of Physics, and in order to establish the roots of affection and communication between the department’s employees, in the presence of the Dean of the College of Sciences, the Assistant Professor, Dr. Hiyam Adel Ibrahim Al-Taii, the Scientific Assistant, the Assistant Professor, Dr. Muhammad Subhi Hameed, the Head of the Physics Department, the Assistant Professor, Dr. Mazen Ahmad Abdel Ghazal, and a large group of professors And the department’s staff,The department’s social committee held a session honoring the elite of distinguished professors and employees who were referred to retirement. The session began with a short speech by the head of the department in which he addressed the distinguished role of retired professors and employees and the efforts they made during their scientific and administrative career in the service of the College of Science and the department, followed by a speech by the assistant professor, Dr. Adnan Mohammed Al-Sheikh.
