College of Science

The Department of Physics was established In 1964 on which the undergraduate studies began. The first batch of the Physics Department graduated in 1968. For postgraduate studies, the MSc studies started in 1977 while the PhD started in 1995. The Department of Physics is essential and has a high academic value among the departments of the College of Science. The department and the teaching staff have been based on pioneering and supportive research and have contributed highly to raise the reputation of the department as one of the excellent institutions of higher education. It also gives an educational and creative opportunity to many talented people.
