Vision
Our vision represents achieving a prominent position among the various chemistry departments in Iraq. We aim to become one of the leading and advanced departments in the domain of Chemistry and academic research. Also, providing the labor markets and various institutions wit competent graduates is our priority.

Mission
The mission includes preparing and qualifying proficient graduates scientifically and practically in various subfields of chemistry, striving to provide sound and advanced scientific research and upgrading the level of the department by providing the best performance in the speed and completion of its various tasks, providing the best scientific and practical services to our students in the four levels of the department.

Objectives
Providing the community with graduates in various branches of chemistry sciences who are able to deal with the requirements of scientific research and can work in health laboratories, construction laboratories, control and standardization, food and pharmaceutical industries, various chemical industries, including oil and petrochemical industries.
Also, with qualified teachers to teach in various schools and universities in Iraq offering high-quality educational services in various chemistry specialties that meet the needs of society and the labor market through strong and clear commitment.
