Vision
The department aspires to be at the forefront of scientific departments not only at the local level, but also at the global level. We are keen to compete on different aspects, whether in academic, teaching, scientific research and community service, and be steppingstone in supporting the country’s research and projects, cooperation and participation with the country’s physics departments, national institutions and bodies, and even at the Arab and international levels to support the progress of development processes.

Mission
The department of Physics seeks to provide the best of scientific methods in teaching the basic principles of Physics in both theoretical and experimental aspects Also, the department devotes most of its time to maintain the advancement of the level of education, scientific research and community service, which is reflected positively towards the progress and advancement of this dear homeland.

Objectives
1- Enabling our students to develop their talents and advanced scientific ideas to meet the needs of society and the various work institutions.
2- Preparing and offering talented students and graduates higher chances to complete their postgraduate studies inside or outside of the country.
3- Enrolling interested technicians in many courses to improve their knowledge and scientific experiences to keep up with the new trends and useful changes happening in the world.
