Admissions Division
It is concerned with the affairs of students who have been accepted in all its forms (central, private government, martyrs, direct, top students, distinguished students, teachers, holders of equivalent certificates and the validity of their documents, etc.)
Tasks and duties
1-Working in accordance with the student admission instructions approved in the Student Affairs Procedures Manual and admission controls and conditions.
2-Follow up on the distribution of students accepted into the university’s colleges according to their admission channels approved by the Ministry’s Central Admissions Department
3-Supervising and following up with private college committees in receiving new accepted students for each academic year.
4-Implementing the admission of graduates of the scientific and literary branch after the results of central admission appear and sending their admission lists to the colleges annually.
5-Implementing the admission of graduates of previous years into university colleges received from the Ministry / Central Admission.
6-Implementing student admission within the private government education channel received from the Ministry / Central Admission in coordination between the department and colleges on the one hand and the Ministry on the other hand.
7-Implementing orders to accept distinguished employees from government departments who graduated from preparatory studies after they are received from the Ministry at the university.
8-Organizing the admission of academically licensed teachers to our colleges after they are received from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research / Central Admission.
9-Implementing admission orders for graduates of the vocational branch at the university and completing the procedures related to this.
10-Implementing the Ministry’s books on accepting families of martyrs into university colleges.
11-Implementing orders to accept the top 10% of institute graduates after they are received from the Ministry.
12-Implementing the orders of students wishing to amend their candidacy after receiving it from the Ministry.
13.-Implementing student re-registration books after they are received from the Ministry / Central Admissions to our colleges.
14-Implementing the Ministry’s books on accepting martyrs’ families for morning studies.
15-Implementing the Ministry’s books on accepting gifted students, accelerated students, and Arab and foreign students in our colleges and following up on their procedures.
16-Accepting holders of equivalent certificates after being nominated by the Ministry.
17-Implementing the Ministry’s books on processing student admissions.
18-Statement of the validity of the issuance of documents and disclosure of grades for accepted and transferred students with equivalent certificates.
19-Statement of the validity of the issuance of original documents for students continuing morning studies whose data is not available in the system.
Registration and Admissions Division / Expatriates Unit:
It undertakes the tasks of validating the special issues of doctors accepted into the colleges of our university and sending all their admission priorities to the Ministry, receiving lists of grades belonging to doctors transferred from universities outside Iraq to the colleges of our university for the purpose of completing the registration conditions and following up on the validity of the issues
