• Student Affairs Follow-up Division
- The Division is responsible for implementing official letters related to handling all procedures concerning student cases, including progression, course loading, postponement, transfer, hosting, amendment of nomination, deferment, failure, cancellation of enrollment, and reinstatement of students whose enrollment has been cancelled.
- Duties and Responsibilities:
- Issuing implementation orders for transferring college students after completing the required procedures with other universities.
- Issuing implementation orders for transferring students to universities in the Kurdistan Region after completing the relevant procedures.
- Issuing implementation orders for hosting college students as issued by the Ministry.
- Issuing implementation orders for hosting students after receiving requests from the colleges, then obtaining the approval of the University President in accordance with the instructions.
- Issuing implementation orders for transferring top-ranking students from private colleges to our colleges as issued by the Ministry.
- Issuing implementation orders for transferring the children of teaching staff members as issued by the Ministry.
- Issuing implementation orders for transferring incoming (guest) students as issued by the Ministry.
- Informing the Ministry / Supervision and University Evaluation Apparatus Department / University Supervision Department of cheating cases received from our university colleges and for evening studies.
- Proposing appropriate recommendations regarding all student affairs cases received within the minutes of college councils (postponement, failure, cancellation of enrollment, raising absence percentage, non-failure, etc.).
- Reviewing requests submitted by college students regarding the reinstatement of students whose enrollment has been cancelled, in accordance with the instructions and decisions issued by the Ministry and the University.
- Implementing ministerial letters received by the Division after referring them to the college to obtain their opinion, then sending them to the Ministry, concerning (postponement, failure, cancellation of enrollment, non-failure).
- Preparing student status reports (examinations, students with cancelled enrollment, etc.) or any required related data or information.
- Circulating instructions related to students whose enrollment has been cancelled and progression cases to the university colleges, and responding to related inquiries.
- Coordinating with the Legal Affairs Department regarding procedures taken in the field of disciplinary penalties for students, as well as forged students.
- Preparing students’ academic records according to the approved form adopted by the Central Admission Department at the Ministry.

This unit is concerned with following up on the implementation of instructions issued for students admitted to colleges that apply the Bologna Process system.
