Under the direction of the Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences, Professor Dr. Manal Raafat Khalid, the Human Resources Unit organized a distinguished workshop entitled “How to Calculate Service and Eligibility for Allowances and Promotions” on Monday, April 6, 2026. The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and a number of the college staff.

The workshop was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Ghassan Ameer Mohammed, Head of the Human Resources Unit, along with Ms. Hanaa Abdul Ghani Rashid and Ms. Rahma Abdul Malik Salem, members of the unit. They addressed the mechanisms for calculating allowances and promotions in accordance with applicable laws and regulations, clarified the conditions for eligibility, and answered participants’ questions.

The workshop aimed to enhance job awareness and improve administrative efficiency, as well as to achieve fairness and transparency in the implementation of institutional regulations.

This workshop aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth) and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), by promoting the principles of integrity and transparency in administrative procedures within the institution.
