The Council of the College of Tourism Sciences Holds Its Regular Meeting

The Council of the College of Tourism Sciences held its regular meeting on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, chaired by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Manal Raafat Khalid, in the presence of the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and the members of the College Council.
The Dean opened the meeting by welcoming the attendees and praising their continuous efforts in supporting the academic and administrative process.
The Council discussed several items on its agenda, the most prominent of which included:
- Preparing for the final examinations and emphasizing the completion of administrative and organizational arrangements, as well as providing a suitable examination environment to ensure smooth and orderly conduct of exams.
- Forming a scientific promotions committee and organizing procedures for following up promotion applications in accordance with approved regulations and instructions.
- Preparing for Sustainable Development Week and organizing awareness activities and events that contribute to achieving development goals.
This meeting comes within the framework of the College’s efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions), through enhancing the quality of education, improving institutional performance, and promoting principles of good governance.
