A Ministerial Committee Visits the College of Tourism Sciences

The Dean of the College of Tourism Sciences, Professor Dr. Manal Raafat Khalid, along with the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Zaid Mohammed Talal, received a ministerial committee on an official visit to the college as part of efforts to review the academic and administrative situation and to assess the progress of work.
During the visit, the committee reviewed the departments and administrative units, classrooms, and laboratories to evaluate the available facilities and the mechanisms of work adopted within the college.
The committee also examined the college’s key scientific and research activities and discussed ways to develop academic programs and enhance the educational level in line with quality requirements and approved standards.
The Dean emphasized the college’s commitment to implementing ministerial directives and its continuous efforts to provide a distinguished educational environment that contributes to preparing qualified cadres to serve the tourism sector.
This visit aligns with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education), Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), Goal 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and Goal 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), contributing to improving the quality of education and advancing the tourism sector.
