A Field Visit to Assess the Impact of Biochar in Bashiqa Subdistrict and Its Surrounding Villages.

In accordance with the experimental biochar program, and within the framework of integrating theoretical knowledge with practical application, a specialized team from the Center for Arid Farming and Conservation Agriculture Research (C.AFCAR), including Assist. These activities were implemented in collaboration with the Nineveh Directorate of Agriculture and the World Food program (WFP), as part of ongoing efforts to promote sustainable agricultural practices and enhance food security in the region. This initiative aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including Goal 2 (Zero Hunger), Goal 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production), Goal 13 (Climate Action), and Goal 15 (Life on Land).
