College of Archaeology Participates in University Sustainable Week

With the support and direct supervision of Professor Dr. Yasmin Abdul Karim Mohammed Ali, Dean of the College, the College of Archaeology witnessed a remarkable presence and active participation in the events of “University Sustainable Week.” Its academic and community efforts were highlighted through distinguished contributions from faculty, staff, and students. This participation included the display of a large number of artifacts crafted by students, which align with the Sustainable Development Goals and reflect a sustained awareness of the importance of sustainability and its role in serving society and building a more prosperous and sustainable future.
The College was keen to create a suitable environment to encourage creativity and purposeful initiatives. The College’s Sustainable Development Committee played a prominent role in planning, follow-up, and ensuring that the contributions aligned with global standards and goals for sustainable development.
