Faculty Member from the Arabic Language Department Publishes a Research Paper in an International Journal

Professor Dr. Mohammed Salem Saadallah, a faculty member in the Arabic Language Department at the College of Arts, has published a scholarly research paper in the peer-reviewed ICESCO Journal, an international journal of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization (ICESCO). The research is titled: “The Framework of Cognitive Criticism: From Textuality to Hermeneutics.”

The paper discusses the structure of cognitive criticism, its prospective horizons, intellectual challenges, and methodological achievements. It explores the interdisciplinary approaches in utilizing the dialogic nature of sciences and knowledge, structured methodologically into linguistic, intellectual, and intentional frameworks.

The research emphasizes the legitimacy of expanding the scope of cognitive criticism between textual studies and the humanities. It highlights the potential of leveraging the remarkable advancements in various scientific fields and draws comparisons between the epistemological outcomes of textual sciences and those of the humanities. Additionally, it evaluates the methodological balance between the diverse outputs of textual sciences and the philosophical and critical methodologies associated with the humanities.
