Ibn Al-Atheer Publishing House has released a book translated from Arabic into French. This translation, a play originally titled “The Investigation” (L’Enquête) by Professor Dr. Imad Al-Din Khalil, was undertaken by two faculty members from the French Language Department: Lecturer Ihsan Shukr Mahmoud and Lecturer Ghassan Salah Jarallah Al-Bazzaz.

This publication is part of academic efforts to introduce Arabic theatrical literature to French-speaking readers. It represents a significant contribution to literary translation and aims to foster cultural exchange between the Arabic and French languages. This work is considered a qualitative enrichment for the French language library, opening new avenues for researchers specializing in comparative literature and theatrical studies. It also highlights an intellectual theatrical experience with a profound human and philosophical character.
