Professor Dr. Nayef Mohammed Shabib, a faculty member in the Department of History at the College of Arts, University of Mosul, participated in a ministerial committee tasked with visiting the College of Nineveh Plain.

The committee’s mission involved conducting a comprehensive field inspection of the academic and administrative departments, as well as reviewing the infrastructure and service facilities. The goal was to prepare a detailed report on the college’s readiness and development needs, in preparation for the potential of converting it into an independent university. This initiative aligns with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s plans to expand university education and better serve the community
