In line with the monthly activities of its Reading Club, the Department of French Language organized an academic visit to the French-Iraqi Cultural Institute in Mosul on Wednesday, October 15, 2025. The session focused on the topic of “The Future and Artificial Intelligence,” during which faculty members and students discussed the impact of smart technologies on the fields of language, translation, and education.

The gathering included the screening of a French educational film, lending a cultural and intellectual dimension to the event. Furthermore, the session was moderated by a professor of Literature and Linguistics, who encouraged the students to delve deeper into the areas of digital analysis and machine translation.
