College of Arts Dean Chairs Conference Committee Meeting Ahead of December Summit

 

Mosul, Iraq – October 28, 2025 – In a determined effort to solidify the position of the College of Arts at the University of Mosul as a center for scientific and intellectual rayonnement, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Hanoo Al-Ta’ee, held an extensive meeting with the committees of the College’s upcoming conference.

The conference, titled “Humanitarian and Social Studies in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: Towards Achieving Sustainable Development Goals,” is scheduled to be held on December 17–18, 2025, within the College premises.

The meeting featured a comprehensive discussion on the overall logistical and scientific preparations for the conference. Key preparatory mechanisms discussed included:

  • The process for receiving research papers.
  • The organization and scheduling of scientific sessions.
  • Arrangements for hosting researchers and guests.

The primary goal of these efforts is to ensure the event is executed in a manner befitting the College’s standing and academic trajectory

During the session, the Dean urged the committees to redouble their efforts to guarantee the conference’s success and highlight it as a distinguished intellectual platform. He stressed that the event should contribute significantly to advancing academic research pathways within the University and the broader community.
