The College of Arts Council held its ordinary eighth session today, Sunday, December 7, 2025. The session was chaired by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Hatem Fahd Hano Al-Tai, and was attended by all council members.

During the meeting, the Council discussed several items listed on the agenda, most notably:

• Adopting the MCQ system with a 60% weight for final examinations for undergraduate students.

• Emphasizing the importance of scientific publication in Scopus repositories.

• Directing faculty members to cooperate with various ministries in organizing joint seminars during the coming period.

This meeting underscores the Council’s commitment to developing the academic process and enhancing academic rigor within the college.
