Faculty Member Participates in the 6th Scientific Conference on Political Psychology

Dr. Hijran Abd al-Ilah al-Salihi, Head of the Department of Philosophy, participated in the 6th Scientific Conference of the Iraqi Association for Political Psychology. The event was held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at the Catholic University in Erbil, in collaboration with the Iraqi Association for Political Psychology, under the theme: “The Iraqi Personality: Modern Readings and Field Investigations.”
Dr. Al-Salihi chaired the conference’s third scientific session, which focused on the discussion of field research papers. These presentations addressed a range of critical issues, including:

The structure of collective consciousness.

Psychological and political trends.

Levels of public trust in institutions.

The contemporary transformations of the Iraqi personality.
The session featured contributions from a distinguished group of academics and researchers representing various Iraqi universities and research centers.
